Tibani nature reserve is a hidden gem only 14km from the historic town of Montagu. Come and experience the beauty of this private reserve with its more than 40 mammal species which include, leopard, aardvark, gemsbok, kudu, springbuck, zebra and many more and more than 100 recorded bird species. The reserve consists of different biospheres boasting many a different plant species as only found in the karoo. The rock formations are spectacular, and the views from different areas on the reserve are breathtaking. Sit in your private hot tub with your loved one and a glass of muscadel and enjoy the most amazing sunsets and stars in the karoo night sky. As the sun sets you will hear the jackal or owls calling their mates just before you settle in for a perfect night at the Mongoose campsite with its private ablutions and free WIFI to let your friends know what a wonderful time you are having. Wake up in the morning with a beautiful sunrise and the sounds of numerous birds at the camp site. On those hot summer days cool off in your private swimming dam located on your campsite.
