Cowboy's Hill

This unique private camp site on Kleine Windpompie Farm is located only 6km from Barrydale. Just off Route 62 and close to the surrounding amenities and popular tourist attractions, this stay is ideal for an in-between stop or a longer stay over.

Break away into nature, mountain views and the bushy Klein Karoo. With a private bathroom, small kitchen, and braai area, you can enjoy your peace in a private space.

This lovely stand has an tent already set up with 2 single beds. You just bring your own bedding and towels. There is space to set up your own second tent should you wish to book for more people.

Here you also have limited solar electricity for lights and to charge devices. A two plate gas stove and a small fridge to ensure a comfortable camping experience. Water is heated by a wood fired donkey, piped to an open air shower.

Walking and cycling trails, mountain views, open air, starry skies, sun rise and unforgettable sunsets.

This is a must holiday or weekend get away!

Roads are easy for high clearance vehicles types. 4X4 is required in wet conditions.

Please note that it is a working farm with animals. Only friendly, well behaved dogs are allowed.
