    There are few places that are better in real than they appear in promotional pictures on their websites. Thornhill is one such place. The place is huge with a garden the size of a soccer field, with comfortable beds, modern bathrooms, two inside kitchens, and one outside. It has a swimming pool, a bar, comfortable chairs and sofas. Although we were only with the two of us, the place is ideal for groups of up to 9. You will have the whole place to yourselves, no matter if you book as a couple or with a group of friends/family. The views over Ndlovumzi and the magnificent Drakensberg mountains are outstanding. What we loved most about the place was the authentic bush experience and privacy. We’ve put Thornhill on our list of small worldwide hidden gems. We have become regular visitors at Thornhill, there is something magical about this place from the moment you walk through the gate. Thandi and Collin are fantastic, they take care of the place and also give you your privacy. We had the pleasure of meeting Samantha and Kevin, the new owners, who are lovely. We wish you much luck and happiness in this place, we are sure you will make a success of it.
